Amanda Thompson Appointed Vice President of DFW IFMA
Sasser is proud to announce that Amanda Thompson, Account Executive in our Dallas-Fort Worth office, has been appointed Vice President of the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (DFW IFMA).
Amanda’s appointment reflects her longstanding commitment to the facility management industry and her dedication to serving the professionals and organizations that make up the North Texas commercial real estate community.
A respected industry leader, Amanda has been actively involved with DFW IFMA for many years, contributing her time and expertise across several chapter committees. Throughout her tenure, she has served on the Winter Social Committee, Golf Committee, and Sponsorship Committee, where she currently serves as Chair. In 2026, Amanda also serves on the committee for the chapter’s inaugural Clays Classic, helping create new opportunities for member engagement, networking, and chapter growth.
Her commitment to advancing the organization and supporting its members was recognized in 2025 when she received the prestigious DFW IFMA Chapter Champion Award.
Beyond IFMA, Amanda has been an active member of BOMA for more than 25 years, serving in numerous volunteer leadership positions, including co-chairing and chairing the Gala committee, serving on the Trade Show Committee, and currently serving as Vice Chair of the FEC Committee.
In her role at Sasser, Amanda focuses on building lasting partnerships with commercial real estate, healthcare, and facility management professionals throughout North Texas. She works closely with clients to deliver restoration, construction, and emergency response solutions that help organizations prepare for, respond to, and recover from unexpected events.
“Amanda embodies the values that drive both Sasser and the facility management profession—service, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed,” said Charlie Lott, Vice President in the Texas office. “Her leadership within IFMA has already made a significant impact, and we’re excited to see her continue shaping the future of the chapter as Vice President.”
As Vice President, Amanda will support the chapter’s strategic initiatives, assist the President in guiding chapter operations, and help ensure continued growth and engagement among DFW IFMA members. She is passionate about mentoring emerging professionals, strengthening industry relationships, and creating opportunities for members to connect and thrive.
Please join us in congratulating Amanda on this outstanding accomplishment and leadership role within DFW IFMA.
