Meet the Team: Sandra Ortiz, Restoration Supervisor

At Sasser Restoration, we’re proud to have an amazing team of skilled professionals who make our mission possible. Today, we’re excited to feature Sandra Ortiz, one of our dedicated Restoration Supervisors in the California office. 

About Sandra 

Construction has been a part of Sandra’s life for as long as she can remember. “I’ve been working in construction my entire life,” she says. “I enjoy it, to be honest.” 

Sandra’s passion for the work is clear. Since joining Sasser Restoration, she’s been deeply involved in everything from drywall installation to full-scale project restoration. “I love seeing things torn down and put back together,” she adds. “That’s one of the most rewarding parts of the job.” 

Getting Started in the Industry 

Sandra’s journey in construction started twenty years ago, inspired by her family’s background in the industry. “My dad and brother used to work in construction. When my dad had an accident and needed someone to drive him to jobs, I stepped in,” she recalls. 

From then on, Sandra embraced hands-on work, learning the ropes and developing her skills. At 18, she joined an all-female crew in Texas, specializing in drywall, before moving back to California. From the beginning, her path has been filled with experience, grit, and determination. 

A Look Inside Sandra’s Day 

As a Restoration Supervisor, Sandra’s day begins with careful planning. “I start by getting ready and figuring out what materials we need on site. I talk to the team and make sure we’re set to get as much done as possible,” she explains. Whether it’s working on multifamily units or tackling other commercial jobs, she’s always focused on providing the highest level of quality, service and responsiveness.  

It’s About More Than Restoration 

For Sandra, the most fulfilling part of her work is seeing the transformation. “I love seeing things demoed, taken apart, and then putting them back together like nothing happened,” she shares. “It’s amazing to see the faces of the people when they realize the problem is gone – sometimes they don’t say anything, but their faces say it all.” 

Sandra’s dedication, skill, and passion for restoration make her an invaluable part of the Sasser team, and we’re grateful to have her on board.
