Sasser Restoration Expands Services with Certified Crawl Space Encapsulation Training and Certifications
In an ongoing commitment to training its employees and providing opportunities for continued education and career development, Sasser Restoration recently sent four employees to Reets Drying Academy in Georgia for a two-day intensive Certified Crawl Space Encapsulation Specialist training program.
This course is a collaboration between Reets Drying Academy, Therma Stor, and Advanced Energy. Steve Brown, Chief Operating Officer, Scott Donoho, Project Manager, Ben Hedrick, Mitigation Manager and Jacob Robertson, Restoration Supervisor are the Sasser Restoration employees who attended the training course and earned their Crawl Space Encapsulation Specialists certification.
The hands-on training course allows participants to dive into the crawl space industry in an immersive, comprehensive, hands-on learning environment. During the training, Sasser team members gained the building science knowledge needed to successfully encapsulate a crawl space.

Upon successfully completing the course, Brown, Donoho, Hedrick and Robertston now have the acquired knowledge and skillset to identify potential concerns and safety issues, properly inspect, prepare and install encapsulation materials, transform a dirty and damp crawl space to a clean and dry space, address challenging crawl space situations, complete crawl space projects according to code in specific climate zones and more.
